GBI defines earthwork as moving dirt quickly and effectively, and with a plan. Having multiple pieces of equipment moving on the same jobsite can be overwhelming but, with the coordination of our experienced project management teams and field staff, GBI consistently performs at a level that exceeds our clients’ expectations.

Ever since purchasing the first hydraulic bulldozer in Marin County in 1955 and the first mammoth D11 Bulldozer in Northern California in 1987, GBI has led the industry in site work operations. Our heavy equipment division now boasts over 200 pieces of modern earth moving machines, including scrapers, dozers, compactors, motor graders, and excavators.
